GGL announced the nominees for the annual ceremony of the GGL’s Players of the Year awards. World Cyber Games champion Creolophus is one of the favorites to take home an award with 2 nominations.
Like every year, the Global Gaming League (GGL) is asking the opinion of the significant e-Sports coverage websites to make their own top 3 of each category . The player who gets the most points wins the award.
Last year, Li "Sky" Xiao Feng won the award for Player of 2006 in Warcraft 3, while JaeWok "Lucifer" Noh collected the most votes and became Revelation of 2006 for the same game.
The nominees for the category Warcraft III Player of the Year the are filled with 3 nightelves and 2 humans. This year Xiao Feng is again nominated and will make a run for his second GGL award in a row. He is accompanied in this category by World Cyber Games 2007 champion Creolophus, winner of the IEF Masters 2007 ToD, world’s highest-earning Warcraft 3 player Moon and winner of the CEG 2007 in Xi'an, ReMinD.
In the category Warcraft III Revelation of the Year it are the four Asians, Lyn, Infi, Th000 and FoCuS, versus one European, Creolophus. The list of nominees is as follows:

With two nominations, Creo seems to possess the best cards. But with heavy antagonism it is yet to be seen if the Norwegian will come out on top. GGL is announcing the Winners next week, stay tuned at GosuGamers for the results of the voting.
